Our propeller repair services offer the highest quality underwater propeller maintenance, cleaning and polishing, completing tasks that were previously only available in drydock. We provide you with topside monitor video inspection before and after polishing, and a detailed written report, complete with photographs, with insight into any anomalies sighted during the inspection.

Keeping your vessel clean is an essential part of ensuring your ship is running at peak performance. This system uses steam instead of brushes, which is the most delicate dry dock and underwater hull cleaning technology available on the market today, capable of removing anything from light slime to heavy barnacles. Underwater welding services are used for temporary or permanent repairs of any cracks found in the hull of a vessel or rudder blade of a ship. It can also be used for cathodic protection or other shell plating repairs. SeaTech is certified and experienced in both dry underwater welding and wet welding. We use specially designed cofferdams and hyperbaric chambers for replacing shell plating sections underwater, as well as creative custom fabrication of habitats on-site to complete complex out-of-the-box projects.

We implement both temporary and permanent underwater repair services, through direct exposure of the diver and equipment to the underwater environment. Wet welding is faster and more cost-efficient than dry underwater welding.
This includes permanent repair of shell plating and appendages, in a unique chamber that allows the work to be completed after the water is removed. This offers higher quality results as there are no sea currents or contaminants involved and hydrogen levels are much lower.
We offer installation, replacement and repair of hull apertures such as discharges and sea chests, as well as anode installation and replacement, and installation of non structural components such as rope guards and fairwaters.
As part of our underwater repair services, SeaTech provides thorough underwater maintenance and inspection solutions, including in-water survey solutions, cleaning, and maintenance solutions for a wide range of needs. IWS inspections for extension of class, as well as pre-purchase and post-charter surveys, or specialist surveys specific to requirements. We offer NDT and complete running gear inspections, pre- and post-dry dock inspections, damage assessments, bottom surveys, and hull coating inspections. Post inspection, we provide confirmation and certification, or if necessary, a thorough report of any issues alongside recommendations and a quote for mitigation and response.
Our comprehensive and sophisticated repair capabilities include the in-water removal and installation of propellers, zinc anode replacement, underwater transducer replacement and repair, suction and discharge of seachests, and the locating, assessment and repair of underwater oil leaks. We also offer salvage services for lost anchors, gangways and other equipment from vessels, and can provide inspection and repair in flooded ballast tanks, both in-port and underwater.
