Underwater Border Control

350-ton underwater border protection structure installed under extreme conditions 

This immense project included the installation of an industrial, 350-ton, underwater structure to detect movement and vessels of all sizes for border control purposes. With SeaTech’s years of experience and the support of highly skilled divers, the complex project was completed successfully with an extremely high standard of quality.

The Challenge

The industrial structure was to be set up at the underwater border and there were strict safety regulations and security procedures in place.

Even small waves would halt the project entirely, so the weather conditions had to be monitored precisely to allow for the safe installation of the structure.

Due to the depth, each diver could only be underwater for 20 minutes a day, adding additional complexity.

This project required careful planning, specialized equipment, and deeply-skilled divers and personnel.
