DRS – Pioneering custom-made dredging solutions in Israel

The Sea Tech Group, in partnership with “Gal-Yam” joined hands and established “Dredging and Reclamation Solutions Ltd”. With both companies’ vast experience in marine works, as well as it’s impressive range of brand-new robotic cleaning machinery, DRS can provide tailor made dredging and reservoir cleaning services at a wide range of water bodies. With the addition of its recent acquisition of the “Watermaster” – an amphibious multipurpose dredger, DRS is able to provide even more value adding services due to its increased ability to provide higher capacity, greater speed, better accessibility, and for unbeatable prices.

Sea Tech gets In Water Survey (IWS) certification from Class NK (Nippon Kaiji Kyokai, Japan)

In its strive to be a key player in the region for In-Water-Surveys for ships registered at any class, Sea Tech received the Class NK on 19 February 2024. Sea Tech is now certified by NKK, DNV GL, and Lloyd’s Register. The acquiring of the certifications is thanks to the accumulated experience of Sea Tech in this field, as well as rigorous staff training and heavy investment in equipment.

Sea Tech successfully completes the 56 mega watt “Methane to Gas Power Plant” project at lake Kivu, Rwanda

Sea Tech is proud to announce the successful completion of the project, officially handed over on 26 July 2023. Assisting the client with various additional works until February 2024, we are proud to state that the plant is operating even beyond expectations. The project consisted of the installation of 22 km HDPE export pipe installed at a depth of minus 15 meters, the installation of 4 GEF barges, and 4 x Wash Water Tower intake and discharge lines. Despite some extreme unforeseen challenges such as the COVID19 pandemic, the eruption of the nearby Nyiragongo volcano, as well as numerous operational challenges, Sea Tech, through uncompromised determination, creativity and professionalism managed, in close cooperation with the client, to hand over the project to the owner. During the project we contributed to the local community by providing job opportunities and providing training in various fields of expertise. Despite the harsh environment we worked in, we had zero major Health, Safety and Environmental incidents.

Sea Tech Rwanda is awarded a contract for FRSS installation at Lake Kivu, Rwanda

  As part of the construction of the Methane to Gas Power Plant in Rwanda, of which Sea Tech has been the Main Marine Contractor, the client, Shema Power Lake Kivu, awarded an additional contract for the installation of 4 Moonpools and 8 FRSS. This complex work was awarded to Sea Tech thanks to the high standards and abilities that Sea Tech have demonstrated during the Construction of the plant since 2021.

“Sea Tech Rwanda (STR) carried out an urgent and difficult repair job at the main water treatment plant Kigali, Rwanda, run by “Cullingham” from the US. Since the plant is a major source of supply of drinking water in the capital, STR had only a few hours to fix the breakdown. With our highly skilled team, and specialized and professional equipment, STR team, together with the support of the client, managed to overcome the difficulties and complete the work in time”

Seatech Rwanda conates household goods to elderly genocide survivor

On Rwanda’s national memorial day, our team went to contribute household goods to this elderly lady who lost her entire family in the genocide. The elderly lady lives in rural area in the mountains of Busoro Cell where she sleeps on the floor in a mud house that has no water or electricity. The members of Seatech constructed a bed and organized a mattress for the elderly lady. In addition, two coal stoves were donated, with cooking pots, utensils, and food to allow her to prepare meals for herself and the community around her. We are proud of our team, who worked together to provide hope, dignity and prosperity to those in need.
