Our customer approached us with an immense project, the installation of an industrial 350-ton structure under the water, to protect the borders by detecting anything from the smallest to the biggest vessels or movements. With SeaTech’s years of experience and the support of highly skilled divers, the project was completed successfully and to an extremely high standard.

The Challenge for our Customer

As the industrial structure needed to be set up at the underwater border, there were very strict safety regulations and security procedures to keep to.

Weather conditions needed to be monitored precisely to allow for the safe installation of the structure. Even 40cm waves would halt the project entirely.

Each diver could only be underwater for 20 minutes per day, due to the depth. This project therefore needed planning carefully.

This project required
a huge amount of care, with specialized equipment and deeply-skilled divers and personnel.
