A full range of remotely operated underwater vehicles (R.O.V.) and robots for sediment extraction and cleaning services
Our advanced, underwater robots can clean a wide variety of sediment types from sewage and reclaimed water, drinking water, sweet water, and seawater reservoirs, as well as intakes and water tanks. Supplemented by experienced divers who access spots the robots can’t reach, SeaTech can meet your needs, with “tailor made” solutions.
In In traditional cleaning processes there is a need to empty and manually clean water towers and drinking water reservoirs or to send divers inside.
In both options, disruptions to the main supply system may occur. Emptying
a reservoir takes a long time and has a high cost, and manually cleaning
involves massive work. Sending divers into a drinking water reservoir also
carries a risk of contaminating the water.
· The drinking
water cleaning robot enables efficient cleaning without the need to empty the
reservoir and without sending personnel into the reservoir.
· It is remote
controlled and equipped with rotating brushes and a powerful pump that directly
sucks all the sediment – without raising turbidity in the reservoir.
· It is equipped
with a video camera that allows inspection of the inside of the reservoir.
· It works only
with electric motors and does not contain hazardous oils or chemicals.
· The entire
cleaning process is documented, and the client receives a video and a written
report.
Our first priority is always to limit the need to shut down the reservoir, as well as to ensure the health and safety of any staff by eliminating the need to send divers down into the reservoir itself for inspections.
We use ROV technology, remotely-operated underwater vehicles, to achieve this goal, as well as dredgers and various water pumps and other technical equipment for removing different sediments.
These can remove sludge and sediment from tanks, basins, and the reservoir itself, and certain models can also be used for cleaning projects and inspections or for water treatment.
Our raw water Robot is designed to clean large underwater surfaces:
· The powerful pump and the wide suction head allow to clean large areas in a relatively short time.
· The sediment is pumped through a pipe to a designated discharge point, such as a treatment station.
· Traditional cleaning using loading machines, conveyors, etc. require expensive investments, manual cleaning is very intensive. Both methods require emptying the basin/filter and taking it out of service.
· With the raw water robot, cleaning can be done during full operation.
· The robot is easily operated by one person and controlled remotely.
· It works only with electric motors and does not contain hazardous oils or chemicals.
· At Sea Tech we improved the base model and purchased a robot that was custom made for our
needs, with additional pumps and high abilities to travel easily and effectively in the water pond.
